Air Emission Monitoring

Dust & Flow Monitor

In-situ instruments that measure dust concentration and flue gas flow directly inside the stack.

Application
Air Emission Monitoring
Sector
Biomass, Carbon black, Cement, Foundries, Iron & steel, Power generation (PLN, coal-fired)
Specifications
Configured for site conditions. Datasheet available on request.
Pair of dust and flow monitor heads with a purge air blower

01

Operational use cases

  • Particulate monitoring on boiler, kiln, and furnace stacks.
  • Flow rate for calculating emission loads.
  • Complementing gas CEMS within one monitoring system.

02

Measurement principle

The sensors are mounted on the stack wall and read conditions inside the gas stream directly, without extracting a sample. Purge air keeps the optics and sensors clean.

The measurement method is selected for the dust load, stack diameter, and flue gas conditions at your site.

Working principle: In-situ dust and flow measurement
  1. Sensor on the stack wallMounted on a flange at the measurement point
  2. Direct measurementDust or flow velocity read inside the stack
  3. Purge airKeeps optics and sensors clean
  4. Control & data unitValues passed to the data logger
