Air Emission Monitoring

Hot-Wet CEMS

An extractive emission monitoring system that keeps the sample hot from the stack to the analyzer.

Operational use cases

  • Stacks with moist flue gas or components that dissolve easily in water.
  • Units that need gas measured wet, without a sample drying stage.
  • Continuous monitoring for emission reporting and operations.

02

Measurement principle

The probe takes the sample at the measurement point. The filter and sample line are heated so the sample stays above its dew point along the whole route. The analyzer reads the gas wet, and a data logger records the results for reporting.

The final configuration, including parameters and sample line length, is based on the stack conditions and your unit’s requirements.

Working principle: Extractive hot-wet
  1. Measurement pointSample taken at a representative point
  2. Heated probe & filterDust retained, sample kept hot
  3. Heated sample lineKept above the dew point
  4. Hot-wet analyzerGas analyzed wet
  5. Data loggerData recorded and traceable
